Composite decking is only as good as the sub-structure beneath. If the sub-structure is made of timber and the area under it is damp or sited close to exposed or wet areas, the sub-structure will almost certainly rot. Ecodek® Super stiff Beams and Low Profile bearers will protect the decked area above them from damp and rot. This is particularly useful for those applications where water is present or is featured such as jetties, pool decks, hot tubs, coastal residential areas and other marine applications.
